Janine Kaiser, is a German/ Australian Producer currently based in Berlin. At the age of 24, she produced her first feature film and was presented with the Best Producer Award by Film Victoria for her work on the short drama St Bernie in 2018.
She is a dual citizen of Germany and Australia and found her passion for visual storytelling while growing up in Berlin and gaining her first set experience on the TeamWorx Film & Television GmbH production "Unschuldig".
In 2013 Janine completed an Advanced Diploma in Screen and Media and worked full-time as the Business and Communications Coordinator at Screen Canberra for three years. In 2017 she graduated with a Bachelor in Film and Television minoring in Finance from Swinburne University. Janine continued to hone her craft while working on long and short-form productions for several Australian production houses including; WildBear Entertainment, Central Australian Aboriginal Media Association, The Directors Group, Madman Entertainment and Genepool Productions.
After Janine's graduation in 2018, she was engaged full-time as TV Producer with world renown advertising agency Clemenger BBDO in Melbourne. Janine is also the founder of production company Kaiserin Films which continues to produce creative projects including award-winning short films which have screened at the Sydney Film Festival, St Kilda Film Festival as well as Montreal World Film Festival.
Currently, Janine is being mentored by BAFTA and LOGIE Award-winning Producer Andrena Finlay.
